What is it?
Spiritual formation is the spirit-led process of becoming a mature disciple of Jesus, by the various spiritual practices modeled to us by Jesus.
We define a mature disciple as someone who Knows Jesus and Shows Jesus by living with their Hands Up (In Worship), Hands Out (to each other in relationship), Hands Open (in surrendered living), Hearts Open (to prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit) and Eyes Open (looking for their 1’s).
Why is it important?
Being a Christian means more than just salvation, it means giving your entire life to become an apprentice of Jesus. Being His apprentice forms you into the person God made you to be, and empowers you to take His message into all the world to make more and better disciples.
